Michael Galipeau is founder and CEO of Heady Krew Productions. He is co-founder of the Evening Star:Festival of the Fae and is a current member of the Executive Team. He is also the lead audio engineer for the Abracadabra Trip with 20 years experience with mobile concert operations and audio engineering. Recent projects include the 50th Anniversary of the Woodstock music festival called WE2019 working under Kenn Moutenot, the NY Harvest Festival 2023, Unifier Festival 2023, Quantum Awakening 2024, Return to Paradise 2024, Only Jams sound camp at Love Burn 2024 and recent bills performing as Osseo include such prolific artists as the Bob Marley’s Original Wailers, Tony Touch, Grandmaster Dee, Franky Bones, Rob Gee, International Superstar DJ Keoki, Immortal Technique, Shanti People, Static Movement and many many more.
Michael Galipeau holds a Master of Social Work from Tulane University with a certificate in Disaster and Collective Trauma. Michael served on the front lines during the Covid-19 pandemic working full-time at the Dutchess County Behavioral and Community Health Department (DBCH) coordinating response with the CDC. Michael is a military wartime veteran with experience operating high-altitude anti-missile guidance systems. Michael is considered a leading expert in crisis response to overdose mortality in the United States, having developed several health department-led programs that have collectively saved thousands of lives over the past decade. Michael is an experienced community organizer, whose recent nonviolent direct actions have been featured in the show Dopesick, which featured real footage from a planned demonstration at the Guggenheim museum which had global impact.
